NutriBase Navigator is a free, downloadable software package for Windows that provides convenient access to the USDA Nutrient Database for Standard Reference, Release 17.

We took the contents of the USDA Nutrient Database for Standard Reference and integrated the same NutriBase search and retrieval mechanism used in our consumer and professional software products to enable quick, easy, and revealing insight into the USDA SR17 nutrient database.

With NutriBase Navigator, you can perform food name (or partial food name) searches. You can View, Rank, or Query the nutrient database. You can use it to count calories or track the values for any nutrient desired. You can quickly list all the good sources (or bad sources) for any nutrient, ranked from high-to-low or from low-to-high. You can also conduct full-fledged Boolean AND searches across the data.
